How to be Successful With Your Cold Outreach

If you ever want to be successful with your cold outreach and land clients left and right, read this:

Some months ago,

I got a new copywriting client.

Here’s how it happened.

While I was busy sending out cold emails using the method I teach in my course on how to become a freelance copywriter and land your first paying client in 7 days…

I came across a job post with the title, “Copywriter for Eve“. After which she went ahead and posted the requirements for the job.

After reading the job post,

Instead of sending her a message on that platform,

I found her email address using one of the tools I show in the course,

Then I sent her a personalized email.

But here’s what I’m trying to get at…

Guess what the subject of the email I sent was?

Yes, you guessed right.

“Copywriter for Eve”

I used the same subject line she used in the job posting.

And guess what?

I got the job.

Listen,

If you ever want to be successful with your cold outreach and land clients left and right…

Personalize your emails.

When I first got started,

I usually send out hundreds of the same emails to everyone I could find,

And the result was zero clients.

In fact, some of them called me out on it and said I should do more research on the people I’m sending emails to.

It’s better to send 5 personalized emails daily than send 100 bland emails daily.

You’ll get more leads with the 5 than with the 100.

It’s about quality, not quantity.

Stay frosty,
