If you’re a freelance copywriter looking to land international clients, read this:
I’ve worked with many international clients from various industries and I’ll show you how to get international clients to pay you in dollars.
First, you must know what you’re offering.
Be specific.
Next, who wants what you’re offering?
You must know who is in need of what you offer.
Once you get these down, the next step is knowing where to find them.
There are many platforms online where you will find clients. Some of them are:
- Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Angel.co
- Crunchbase, etc.
Go to these platforms, find the companies you want to work for, find the decision-maker (CEO or marketing manager), get their email addresses (use hunter.io), then send them a personalized email telling them how you could help them.
Note: Your email must be personalized. Use their names and the name of the company in your emails.
Also, write like a human being. Don’t be salesy.
Yes, your email is a sales email but you must sound casual, or else it’ll turn them off.
Then send them an email using this simple template:

Does XXX need any help writing a sales letter right now?
Warm regards,

That’s basically it.
It doesn’t have to too long.
I’ve received cold emails that were too long and it’s not a surprise that I didn’t read them.
Stay frosty,
